Privacy Policy

• Account details. Your email address and password, or your Google account profile (name, email, avatar) if you sign in with Google.
• Profile. An optional display name and avatar you choose in Settings.
• Content you create. Chat messages, journal entries, mood check-ins, and reflections you save in the app.
• Voice input. If you use voice features, audio you record is sent for transcription and, for replies, converted to speech. Audio is processed to produce text and is not retained by Lugni after processing.
• Preferences. Language, appearance, accessibility, and notification settings.
• Technical data. Basic device and browser information and error logs needed to keep the app running.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not sell your personal information.

• To create and secure your account.
• To save and show your chats, journal entries, mood entries, and settings across devices.
• To generate AI replies, transcriptions, and spoken responses when you use those features.
• To keep the app reliable, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.

Your content is used to provide the features you interact with: showing your history, generating responses to messages you send, transcribing voice input, and applying the preferences you set. When you send a message or record voice input, that content is sent to our AI provider (see below) only to produce a reply or transcription for you. We do not use your personal content to train AI models, and we do not use it for advertising.

• Account and content: stored for as long as your account is active.
• Deletion: you can delete individual chats or journal entries at any time. Deleting your account from Settings removes your account and associated content from our database.
• Voice audio: processed for transcription and text-to-speech and not retained by Lugni afterward.
• Backups and logs: limited operational backups and error logs may persist for a short period before being overwritten in the normal course of operations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Lugni, and only to the extent needed to provide the service:

• Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, and authentication for your account and content.
• Lovable AI Gateway — routes your messages, voice input, and text-to-speech requests to the AI models that generate replies and transcriptions.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, to verify your identity.

These providers are bound by their own terms and privacy commitments. They process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use your personal content for their own purposes.

• Update your profile, language, and preferences in Settings.
• Delete individual chats, journal entries, or mood entries.
• Change your password or sign out at any time.
• Delete your account from Settings to remove your data from our database.
